It’s the Men’s turn now. In honour of the Spring Summer Collection Sales, we thought it would be a good idea to feature once again a combination that is perhaps a little unusual for many but one which we think really works; it’s an alternative to the regular formal Shirt and Trouser combo, with a slightly playful twist for a light hearted look…perhaps reminiscent of the eternal Peter Pan…
The Shirt is tailored, maybe with a pattern, such as a small or ‘bacchettino’ stripe (as it’s known in the trade), best in a stretch fabric that enhances the physique and has a slimming effect…if needed.
For 7 years, since the first Collection for Men, the Patrizia Pepe Men’s shirt, the undisputed Best Seller in every season, is the 5C0017 in stretch Cotton Poplin, which is brought to you in many different colours and fabrics according to the season, and is now available in the Sale.
This version is in fact available in both Summer and Winter in standard colours (White, Black, Blue) which are never usually discounted, with the addition of seasonal colours depending on the Collections, and now available at reduced prices.
Or, in the same basic design and fabric, there is the version with contrasting fabric inserts: pinstripes, checks or other patterns which make this everyday Shirt stand out, while maintaining the same fit and quality of material.
The uniqueness of the combination that we’re suggesting is in the trousers, because the “Classic” look pants in Stretch Cotton Gabardine or Cool Wool or even cooler dyed Linen have been cut off to become Bermuda shorts.
Worn with lace-up shoes and socks for a rather British look, or even with a Jacket in the same fabric, like a gentlemen member of one of London’s exclusive clubs.
The more formal Bermuda shorts are in Cool Linen, paired with a Jacket or for a more casual look…with ankle books, for a real everyday vibe.
