For the upcoming summer season, Patrizia Pepe takes inspiration from the vibrant and intense colours of ready to wear to present a special collection dedicated to the sea and chilling out on the beach, with off-beach options perfect even for city appointments.
Warm tones of Orange, Lychee Red, Peony Pink and Taxi Yellow are set off against fresh shades such as Wave Green, Ocean Indigo, Spring Green and Jet Black, mixing in with new glam-chic prints on superlight nylon, “sensitive” jersey, muslin and the finest silks.
Swimwear ranges from triangle and bandeau bikinis – with coordinating bottoms – to classic one-pieces or trikini, enhanced with flower motifs and micro multicolour geometric patterns that look like waves in high definition, or embroidered with sparkly sequins that catch and reflect the sunlight.
The collection also includes designs with crochet effect detailing and a series of reversibles, characterised by playful inside-out two tones that allow you to adapt your swimsuit to your mood.
Distinctive details and decorations for the season return like personalisations on the exclusive Patrizia Pepe “summer closet” range, which includes pieces with a soft, flowing silhouette. Short and long jumpsuits, along with jodhpur-style trousers, mini skirts, maxi t-shirts and shorts are enhanced with sequin details and Doll Flowers and Geometric Wave prints, alternated with summery sweatshirts and tops with iconic prints including the stand-out ’93 symbolic number.
Dresses are adorned with ultra-elegant details such as rouching at the sides, kimono sleeves, halter necks, drawstring waists and elegant macramé inserts, whereas ultra-light nylon pieces – including delicate windbreak jackets and shorts – are personalised with subtle frills, practical drawstrings and contrasting lines.
The collection is completed with individual and brightly coloured accessories, from straw hats with printed brims or made from raffia, wedge heels in summer shades or in gold versions with sporty-inspired details. Through to fashionable bags for the warmer weather, knitted textures or woven straw like wind mats.
