ICED CHAI LATTE

Ingredients for one large glass

1 teaspoon of mixed spices for chai latte (cardamon, clove, ginger)

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder

1 pinch of vanilla flavouring

1 rounded spoon of brown sugar

120ml water

250ml milk

1 teaspoon of black tea leaves

Method

Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan. Stir to dissolve the spices. Bring to the boil. Turn off the gas and set aside for a few minutes. Filter twice through a tea strainer. Leave to cool in the fridge. Serve with a few ice cubes for an extra-chilled drink.
